History of Tecnica
In 1930, Oreste Zanatta founded a small shop that focused on the production of work shoes. In the following decade, Tecnica expanded its business by producing ski boots and creating the first Moon Boot®, which became an icon of the twentieth century, with over 25 million pairs sold. In 2002, the acquisition of Nordica made the Tecnica Group the world's first manufacturer of ski boots. The latest acquisition in 2006 was the Austrian brand Blizzard - a historic trademark in the ski world - which further strengthened the Tecnica Group's international leadership in the field.
